Highly disappointed after reading about this in a top ten of sushi restaurants in the United States, which I am working my way through currently, and this one should definitely not have been included in the top ten for the United States let alone in even a top ten list for LA. Very poor quality fish and would not return. Again, I love sushi and have sushi about once a week. Also, I have traveled all over the US trying sushi at numerous places to know the difference between amazing vs great vs ok vs not returning. And this fell into the later bucket.

Recommend this delicious sushi spot that also serves other traditional Japanese food!!! So tasty and healthy dishes everyday!!!

We end up here at least once a month. Sometimes we're just hungry for good fried rice and steak or chicken or shrimp! The service is friendly and efficient, the food always perfect, and fun to watch as it's being prepared.

This is the 3rd time I've been over the course of several years. I used to think it was a great place, but this time not so much. They now require a course menu at the bar and to order a la cart sushi you have to sit at the tables. WHAT?Quality was always good and atmosphere a little cold (decor, not temp), service good, and sticking to Japanese tradition was what we liked about this place. But this time I was told that the reason the bar was course only (chef decides what you eat) was because "the bar is more respectable". LOL I'm a veteran of sushi, from US and Japan. I know what the bar is. I'll never go there again. Too many other sushi place with equal quality, less price, better attitude.

Not only is the sushi great here, but the sushi was impeccable. Pricey but worth it

In a sketch part of town, restaurant didn't fill up. Only 15 people roughly in restaurant. Food was delish but wasn't very filling. Omakase levels are $110, $130, $180? and $220?

Came here as family of four, attentive and welcoming staff, and of course great food! Particular favorite was the salmon selection and chocolate mooch.

I really like their food. I always get excellent customer service here. The place is clean and the employees are always super nice. I highly recommend this place.

I am so happy I found Angel Thai. I had it for the first time 6 months ago and it has became my go-to Thai restaurant since! All the dishes are flavorful, the portions are great and prices are decent. I especially love that I'm supporting a small family business. I've only called in my orders but they're always so kind on the phone, very helpful. If you're craving Thai food, give this place a shot! I suggest their pad see u, fried rice and my all time favorite... green curry!

Just ate here last night. Wow! The sushi is just amazing. No fancy rolls, no cream cheese, no mayonnaise, just the best fish prepared in the best way. You feel refreshed and uplifted here. You feel the intense dedication of the staff and chefs the moment you walk in the door. Enjoy asushi dinner that will blow you away with its freshness and quality. Can't wait to return.

While I’m not a sushi person I was overwhelmed by the quality of their Salmon bowl which was worth the trip. And I had ice tea...yes I know but still IT WAS OUTSTANDING!

We had a great time with family and friends. The food and service were both great. The Sushi was excellent and everyone enjoyed the Hibachi and Sake.

High quality food in a nice, authentic japanese environment and atmosphere. Dishes preparation very accurate and elegant. Service really caring. The best japanese restaurant I have experienced in LA!

Mori Sushi is easily one of my favorite sushi joints. It's low key, but you better go make that reservation of yours online in order to get a seat here. I always request to sit on the right side as the right is the original Sushi, and the left is a newer space they opened right next door.

The customer service is always efficient, good mood, very welcoming employees. I will return here again when I am in the area.

Kind of an upscale Sushi bar for Mansfield. Service is always good. For is great with a fairly wide selection. Drinks are good as well.

Sushi... delicious. One of the best spots of its kind in the area. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

Great fancy SUSHI dinner with a lovely friend... Freshly delivered Sushi from Japan, Alaska, and many other places of the world... Aged Soy Sauce from Japan in a comfy local hidden gem... Loved it, Enjoy!!!

The food was really good, and there was lots of it. I took half mine home and was still stuffed.Drinks are good.Fun atmosphere.

The service was excellent. Rather quiet on a Friday night, which was surprising.27 courses was quite a tour and overall was good. A couple of the courses were not up to standard, unfortunately.

So ordered for the first time. Right on time delivery. My bro housemate way passed out on the stoop. Delivery guy helped me carry a 6'5, 250lbs to his bedroom. Without question, and concerned. This is why I love LA. The food was awesome too.

I travel frequently to Japan and the quality is comparable. Unique selection of fish and serene environment. Best Japanese I've had in L.A.

The food here is good, but it’s not worth $100/ person, which is what you can expect to spend. We liked everything except for the Toro, which was chewy with a big veins of fat, like a cheap slice of bacon. It was not well marbled and buttery like you’d expect from a standard sushi restaurant. Honestly, you should just go to Hide sushi around the corner. It’s twice the quality for half the price.

Always great sushi. They make it fresh in front of you. Spicy Tuna is always a good choice .The staff, food, restaurant and offerings are great! It’s nice to have such good flavors. It reminds me of my time living in Japan.

Awesome service! The waitstaff is extremely attentive and I like this restaurant under this new management. Last time I was here under the old name the service was very slow and there weren't so many fun fusion options :)

I had anniversary dinner with my wife here. The server was really kind and sweet even while I was making a reservation two weeks before the anniversary. The chef explained about each dish kindly and the server cared us very politely. Taste of sushi was awwwesommmeee. Especially, I liked the cold soft tofu. It was like vanilla ice cream. And smoked toro... I still dreaming of it. My wife and I deeply appreciate for their service. They completed our first anniversary of our marriage perfectly.

This restaurant is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. everytime I want to go to a fair meal, this place comes immediately to my mind. very good and varied food and a large list of dishes.helpful team, and nice spirit. Not less important, the tariff is good. I recommend this place with great pleasure.

This place has easily become our go to Thai food restaurant. Food is really and always consistent. I never have to wonder if my order will be right. Their customer service is equally awesome and connsisent like their food! We livee in La Crescenta, but never mind the drive down
